Trampoline - Prerelease

Welcome to a preview of my forthcoming album Trampoline (due for release in 2027). Please email me at nelsonmathewsmusic@gmail.com and let me know which three (or four) songs stand out to you. I was fairly sure which songs I’d push forward as singles, but after final mastering I wasn’t so sure. It’s time to get some distance. Thanks for taking part in this exercise.

This link expires on the 30th October 2026.

Trampoline

After recording these songs, I realised they were about men (of all ages) wrestling with circumstance. These are guys I’ve known, or composites of them. Straight or queer, the men I have loved through friendship or intimacy are complex - sometimes fragile, sometimes self-destructive, sometimes beautiful. This album is for them and for those that stand within their orbit.
