After recording these songs, I realized they were about men (of all ages) wrestling with circumstance.
These are guys I've known, or composites of them.
Straight or queer, the men I have loved through friendship or intimacy are complex. Sometimes fragile, sometimes self-destructive, sometimes beautiful.
This album is for them and for those that stand within their orbit.
